The Wittelsbach Tower is a good ways outside town limits and you should go there by car. In return, you get an excellent view.
Anniversary tower for the Kingdom of Bavaria
In order to create a better observation point with a good view of Bad Kissingen, the Wittelsbach Association was founded in 1903, chaired by Dr. Wendelin Dietz. The occasion for the naming of the tower was the upcoming centenary of the Kingdom of Bavaria on 1 January 1906. Measuring 33 metres in height, the tower offers a wonderful view of Bad Kissingen and the Saale valley.
